Originally from Dallas, Texas, Dr. Ryan Kirk earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University before completing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2025. His professional interests include internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, dentistry, and cardiology. Dr. Kirk is an active member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, the British Veterinary Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association. He finds the most rewarding part of his career to be fostering long-term connections with his patients and their families.
Before becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Kirk worked as a radiology technician at Texas A&M’s Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital and participated in an organization that trained guide and service dogs. At home, he shares his life with two cats—Egg, a seven-year-old with a flair for modeling, and Boy, a seventeen-year-old retired ultrasound practice cat. Outside of work, Dr. Kirk enjoys cooking, going to the gym, and exploring the world of craft coffee.
